Teams Magma and Aqua have awoken Kyogre and Groudon, and the two legendary Pokémon are fighting in the middle of the city, which is tearing nature itself apart! There must be a way to stop their titanic battle! Only one Pokémon is powerful enough to bring peace. Exit Sootopolis City and traverse Route 130, first Flying to Mauville City and making a stopover at Rydel's Cycles to obtain the Mach Bike if necessary. You will need it!
Surf west on Route 130 to Route 131. The next trick is to find the entrance to the Sky Pillar— it looks like the entrance to a cave. Once you've found it, go up the stairs and exit the tunnel. Wallace will arrive and say that he's opened the locked door to the tower. Make sure that you have the Mach Bike with you.

Some of the floor tiles are cracked, so you will need to ride the Mach Bike quickly over them to avoid falling through. If you fall through a hole, it's OK— just go back up the stairs, back to the floor you fell through.
Rayquaza, the Sky High Pokémon, is sleeping atop the tower. Walk up to it, and it will awaken and fly off! Follow it— you can Fly directly to Sootopolis City from here.
Sootopolis City
When you arrive, go down to the shore to see the action. Rayquaza shows up in the midst of the battle and sends Groudon and Kyogre away. Surf to the bit of land outside the Gym and speak to Archie and Maxie, who both decide to disband their respective teams.
Note: If you were to return to the Sky Pillar, Rayquaza would be there, waiting to battle. However, it is Level 70 and extremely powerful— it would most likely easily defeat your entire team. Come back after you've become the Champion.
Trainers with a PokéNav by their names will be registered in the Trainer's Eyes or Match Call function after the first battle, and may have a rematch with the player with higher-level Pokémon.
