End Tyranny on Bulbapedia NOW!

It's been three months, but I'm back. Did ya miss me?

Where was I? I was blocked by Shiningpikablu252 for disagreeing with him on the features of Template:Type2 pokemon. He comes to my page, starts an argument and blocks me. He thought I didn't know he was an admin and that blocking me would intimidate me into fearing him when he's nothing more than a common cyber brute!

This needs to end, Bulbapedia should be a place where loyal pokemon fans can store as much data about Pokemon as they can. It's not fair that I got a three-month when I only tried to help and he came to my page in hostility; this isn't responsible execution of authority. Surely there are real vandals out there in need of punishment.

I don't mean to bite the hand that feeds, but that just wasn't right.

There, now you've read my brief perspective of the story. I believe we should petition for mediation, I believe we should petition for better selection of our administrators and better treatment from them.

Actually, you could have sent an e-mail to TTE or Zhen Lin and they probably would have seen that it was too long, they could have unblocked you about 2 and a half months ago. Just so you know, Kenji-girl and I became admins as well. MoldyOrange 19:58, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Congratulations, but I couldn't; no surprise he blocked my emailing privileges to try to keep from getting back on. I don't think ZhenLin's been online in forever. I think I looked for TTE on the forum, but I don't remember if something with wrong. But I did I find Fabu-Vinny and he tried to resolve the situation I think. Thanks for the concern! --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 20:20, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
BTW Anyone interested in learning about my speculated "evil, wicked, trollish" 3-month ban-worthy behavior can read the entire 6-post dispute just a few inches below if you've got a three-minute egg boiling and need something to fill the time. --*Ɣℯ№ӎօṫհ* 08:01, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Blanking

Please do not blank pages. --PAK Man Talk 20:16, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

I was referring to the Favorite template. At one point, you removed all the content from the page. I do, however, appreciate that you fixed the template instead of just leaving it blank. Just for reference, if you make a mistake, there is an undo button you can click on. --PAK Man Talk 21:26, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

If Venomoth is your second favorite, what's your favorite? --悪臭の人 stinkoman20X6normal.PNG 21:46, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Re: Query

The people who made edits after the first one did not change the box. They changed categories, etc. If you want to change the picture, just put {{User Blah|NUMBER}} when you put it on your userpage. If you want to change the colour, you will have to copy the whole code. Porygon-Z 18:43, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

If I might add, the main reason people shouldn't edit those boxes is because so many other users already use them. Changing colors may be a simple thing, but unless all/most of the other people using the box agree with the change, it's not really fair to just edit it. You'd end up with users fighting over which color it should be. Better to leave suggestions on the talk pages, like you did on a few of them. :D -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 22:40, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
True, but still... --Venomoth 18:54, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Template:Types

The template is divided by physical and special columns based on how the attacks went prior to Generation IV. Your edits basically made it look like Dark-type attacks were physical and Ghost-type attacks were special prior to the split when, in fact, the reverse is true (Ghost was physical, Dark was special). As such, your edits to that template constitute vandalism. Please don't do it again. --Shiningpikablu252 20:38, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Updates should show how it is now, not how it was. How can this be vandalism? --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 21:20, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
It's vandalism because you were inserting false information. The reason the template is like that is because that's how attacks worked in Generation III and before, before the physical/special split in Generation IV rendered the type-based attack classification categories obsolete. Someone screwing up and making every Dark-type attack except one physical in Generation IV does not change the fact Dark-type attacks were special in Generation III.
If your "how it is now" philosophy WERE to be applied to that template, the correct action would be eliminating the columns, since "how it is now" is physical and special not even depending on type. You had zero reason to make those edits the way you did.
Please leave this subject matter alone before you end up blocked. --Shiningpikablu252 21:29, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Tell you what, block me! I won't be back and I certainly won't be bullied, even though you know you're wrong. --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 21:38, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Three-month block. Perhaps you didn't realize that you were trying to bully a member of the Bulbapedia staff? Bulbapedia sysops know what they're doing, and trying to badger one into doing your vandalism is not the thing to do. Perhaps you'll treat sysops better once your block expires. --Shiningpikablu252 22:02, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Signature

See this page, please. --ニョロトノ666 23:58, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

From what I can see, the current signature doesn't break the policy; those symbols on either side of the name aren't images, they're still text (special characters, to be exact). Unless I'm not seeing something else there... -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 06:49, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Uhh, Hi

A LOT HAS CHANGED, so go to Fabu-Vinny for the deets--KukiTalk 19:43, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, will do. --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 19:45, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
First NO USERPAGE EDITS. For the rest, u'll find changes on most species pages--KukiTalk 19:49, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Most trainers now have their pictures and party tables (they Have G4 sprites)--KukiTalk 19:52, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I already knew that, but thanks. What are G4 sprites? --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 19:56, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
I assume he means the party tables on the Caracters of the days. (He's been making a big deal about them.) MoldyOrange 20:00, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Generation IV. And it's also movie characters--KukiTalk 20:04, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
But where would you put them? And how much longer is the ban on userpage edits going to last? --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 20:20, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
What do u mean--KukiTalk 20:57, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Where do you put them? Since we can't edit our user space. --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 18:51, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

The actual anime characters in the main namespace!--KukiTalk 15:00, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Yay! We can edit our userspace again! --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 05:21, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Don't be crazy about it though...only 3 a day or else the same will happen AGAIN. ht14 17:53, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Mediation

I think you're on to a good idea here, and I'd like to give you a hand. I wouldn't hold your breath for extra powers though, I highly doubt we'd get admin (the next highest editing privilege up from standard editor) just for wanting to be nice to people :( Still it's worth a shot. I feel there's a big need here for some "power control", as you can probably tell from my UT page and some other talk page contribs. :D — THE TROM — 07:35, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Lol interesting discussion page. Well, adminship would be nice, but I really want to make sure that the ones we have are doing what they're supposed to be doing. As you can see from the top of my userpage I had a run-in with a very nasty admin before and it disturbs me to know that they would allow someone with such anger issues to be an admin on such an otherwise great site like this (though in my experience that's often the way it goes, you don't really see things like this on Wikipedia because there's so many admins and regulations keeping things in check, on smaller ones there's fewer and so the likelihood of running into a God-mod is bigger). --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 23:07, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Ditto everything you have said. I've previously read through your run-in with Pikablu, and I agree it was highly unfair. TTE seems to have given it the go-ahead (on somewhat of a trial basis) so let's just prove to the "admins" that you don't need truckloads of edits to be an awesome user, just a cool head and calm frame of mind :D I look forward to working with you. — THE TROM — 23:41, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Will do my best! It's nice to know be able to ensure that a balance of power exists and that I can help make sure of it. I'm gonna try to make as many contributions as I can, though I'm not really on too much. ^^; --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 23:59, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day. This policy was instated to prevent strain on our server, and also to promote people helping out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! -- Jello 21:42, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought that was the userpage, my mistake. --*Ɣℯ№ӎօṫհ* 23:10, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --CuboneKing 21:52, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

No, I meant to get rid of my rant. I'm still not happy about the events that happened described above, but it was like 2 years ago. --*Ɣℯ№ӎօṫհ* 21:56, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
I'm not happy with my past either, but I haven't removed anything. Moving it to User talk:Venomoth/Archive 1 would get some dirt off you. CuboneKing 01:11, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
No, no, I still feel Shiny was hostile and nasty then, no idea what he's like now and not interested in finding out. My point was that I didn't want to look like I'm still obsessing over that. I didn't think it would be a big problem deleting it because I knew someone could just view a previous version of my talk page. I might archive things later. --*Ɣℯ№ӎօṫհ* 01:43, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
