Membership Card is a Key Item available only in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl got through a Nintendo Event.
Effect
It allows the player to travel to Newmoon Island and obtain Darkrai
Procedure
Obtaining the Item
After downloading the ticket via Mystery Gift, talk to the green man in any Pokémart.
Usage
Go to Canalave Dock, enter the inn, and a man will tell you that "You have a reservation". You go to sleep and get teleported to the island. Beware that you can't leave the island unless the battle with Darkrai ends.
