Virizion is a major character in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. She came by Post Town near the start of the game and catches many eyes of Post Town's citizens.

When Virizion comes to Post Town, she stops at Swanna's inn. When Dunsparce sees her, he falls in love with her. The player's partner realizes that Dunsparce is nervous in talking to her and hopefully becoming her friend, he/she says, "I'll do the talking for you!" In the inn, he tells Virizion that Dunsparce would like to be her friend, but she declines.
