The Ability Capsule is an item introduced in Pokémon X and Y that allows the player to change the Ability of one Pokémon, provided that the Pokémon belongs to a species featuring two standard Abilities. For example, it can be used to change a Pidgey's Ability from Keen Eye to Tangled Feet (or vice versa), but it cannot be used on a Pikachu (whose standard Ability is always Static). It also cannot be used to change a Pokémon to or from its species's Hidden Ability.
It is available as a prize from the Battle Maison in Kalos, for 200 BP. It has no effect in battle or if given to a Pokémon to hold, and it is consumed after use.

Allows a Trainer change a Pokémon's Ability to the other standard Ability its species can have. It does not work on species that only have one standard Ability, and it will not enable a Pokémon to change to or from a Hidden Ability.
