PFUASBL

History of PFUASB:

In late June of 2003, Pokemon Fan Universe established its ASB with the help of members of the TPM ASB who were upset over its state and changes that were being made to it. It was made partially to help and partially because at that time Pokemon Fan Universe's webmaster was actively trying to make Pokemon Fan Universe fill in the void Pokemasters created when it collapsed in late 2001.

The battle system of PFUASB was created with heavy influence from TPM's system, including the ASB Central and Tournament Forums for organizational purposes, as well as the general battle engine. All that was left now was to wait for some reliable people to join the ASB, and PFUASB got under way.

The first moderators and posters in ASB were none other than Deck Knight(Known as the Knight of Deckness at PFU) and Moltrecuno, who oversaw the start of PFUASB and put all the initial elements in place to create a workable PFUASB. Once setup was complete, battlers were allowed entry, and team approval had begun. A few staple players were added into the fold, and would prove valuable to PFUASB's continued presense, not least of which was Sleepy Wombat, who took over in Deck Knight and Moltrecuno's absenses.

Pokemon Fan Universe still offers a variation of the old TPM battle system, which had the basic rules of starting with 6 lowest-stage pokemon(barring legends), and allowed each pokemon one signature move. There are other various limits on number of battles, battle rules, etc.

Current PFUASB Features:

Main Forum: Battle Dome(Arrange Battles), and Emergency Reffing(Post a battle that hasn't been reffed in a while, any ref who continues the match will be paid for thier work in advancing the battles).

ASB Central is the Hub of ASB, it includes official locations such as: Attack List Compendium, Team Registration Office, Bank of PFU, Reffing Line-Up, Chamber of Commerce(Business Approval), "I am Away" Topic, Quick Battle Range(AIM battle set up), and New Species Approval Thread and Shop(Create your own pokemon, with heavy restrictions and an approval process).

And also houses the Businesses: Team Faulk's Black Market(Pokemon Ordering), PFU Trade and Sell Depot(PTSD), (Selling and Trading Pokemon), Pokemon Dojo(Level-Up Evolutions), Poketech Hotel(Breeding and Happiness/Beuty/Trade evolutions), Stone Sanctuary(Stone and Trade Item Evolutions), Pokeventure Park(Pokemon Capturing place akin to the Safari Zone), and Pokemon Protectors(Game with Prizes).

PFUASB also has a few Tournaments going on in Tournament and Gym Central, and currently has quite a few established Gym Leaders.
