Drew's Butterfree (Japanese: シュウのバタフリ Shū's Butterfree) is a Pokémon owned by Drew.

Butterfree is Drew's fifth and therefore newest Pokémon although it is unknown when it was caught. It is already quite powerful.

It debuted in The Unbeatable Lightness of Seeing and along with his Roselia it was used in a double battle against May's Combusken and her Beautifly. He defeated May.

This is Butterfree's only appearence to date.

Trivia

• This is Drew's second Bug/Flying type Pokémon, the first being his Masquerain
• Butterfree was caught after the appearence of Solidad's. Solidad is one of Drew's main rivals so it may have been caught due to this. It is also possible that it was meant to be a rival for Beautifly.
