First release

This first release was available starting in July 1999[1] and later many of these were retired early for the United States market[2].

Second release

This second release was available starting in October 1999[1] and later many of these were retired early for the United States market[2].

Third release

This third release was available starting in December 1999[1] and later many of these were retired early for the United States market[2].

Fourth release

This fifth release was available starting sometime in 2000 and later many of these were retired early for the United States market[2].

Sixth release

This sixth release was available starting sometime in 2000 and later Blastoise was retired as of October 30, 2000 for the United States market[2].
