Tatsumi Kimishima
Tatsumi Kimishima (Japanese: 君島 達己) is the current president of Nintendo. He was the president of Pokémon USA from its founding in 2001 to 2002, was president of Nintendo of America from 2002 to 2006, and was chairman and CEO of Nintendo of America from 2006 to 2013.

Kimishima once worked for the Sanwa Bank of Japan for 27 years and dealt with corporate planning, international business development, corporate communications and promotions.
Nintendo
The Pokémon Company inc.
Kimishima was appointed Chief Financial Officer of The Pokémon Company inc. in 2000. He retained this position until 2001.
Pokémon USA inc.
In 2001, he became the first president of Pokémon USA with its founding. He retained this position until 2002.
Nintendo of America
In January 2002, he became president of Nintendo of America, and retained this position until May 2006, when he was succeeded by Reggie Fils-Aime.
In May 2006, he became CEO and chairman of the board of Nintendo of America, and retained this position until June 2013.
Nintendo Co. Ltd.
In June 2002, he was made a director of Nintendo Co. Ltd., in addition to his role as president of Nintendo of America.
In June 2013, Tatsumi Kimishima left his position as CEO and chairman of the board of Nintendo of America, and moved to Japan to become managing director of Nintendo Co. Ltd., taking the roles of general manager of Corporate Analysis and Administration and general manager of the General Affairs Division from two retiring executives (Yoshihiro Mori and Masaharu Matsumoto). Global President of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, took on the role of CEO and chairman of the board of Nintendo of America in addition to his current roles.
In September 2015, Tatsumi Kimishima became the president of Nintendo Co. Ltd., after the death of previous president Satoru Iwata in July of that year.
Family
Kimishima is married and has two daughters. One lives in New York and the other works at the Japan Credit Bureau.
