Spading around to see what rematches are possible, as well as what matches are not possible based on how the storyline progresses. For the purposes of this article, while it is true that Gym Trainers cannot be battled after the Gym Leader (for the most part anyway), those Trainers will be ignored. This is to test what triggers rematches in games where rematches are not "naturally possible" (that is, based on time/day. So for instance, Barry's weekend match after defeating the Elite Four would not count. Pokénav and PokégearGSC matches will also not count unless there is a specific trigger that I don't know about.). Elite Four rematches are valid as an example. Feel free to edit, but please ask questions if you're confused~

  • Pyrite Bldg - after defeating Dakim, rematches in the same levels are possible upon leaving the area (you have to leave Pyrite Town) and re-entering (someone else will have to test for before defeating Dakim, but iirc, that's not possible)
