PokéKyun Collection (Japanese: ポケキュンコレクションPokékyun Collection) is a sub-set released during the XY Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The set revolves around hyper-cute Pokémon and features completely Holofoil cards much like Shiny Collection. It was released on January 29, 2016.
Information
PokéKyun Collection is the third Concept Pack of the Japanese XY Era overall, and first of the XY BREAK Era. It comprises of 32 cards. Much like the preceding full-Holofoil Shiny Collection released during the BW Era and Legendary Shine Collection during the XY era, each pack contains only 4 cards instead of the usual 5, and each card has a gloss coating with a Holofoil inset. While not part of the PokéKyun Collection, a promotionalShaymin-EX card available in the Premium PokéKyun♥ Set, also from January 29, 2016, features the same inset. Additionally, each of these cards feature a number of charms down the left side of the artwork, and each charm is said to tell a story about the Pokémon in the illustration. The charms and what they denote are detailed in the table below.
