English and Japanese name origins

Pikipeck is most likely derived from picus (Latin for woodpecker), possibly pico (Spanish for beak or crest), and peck. Tsutsukera is a combination of 突く tsutsuku (to peck) and 啄木鳥 keratsutsuki (woodpecker).--Siobonbon (talk) 18:10, 14 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Trivia

This Pokemon was originally revealed as a wireframe model in the Sun and Moon Announcement Trailer. - unsigned comment from Theexploringgamer (talkcontribs)

Evolutions

Somewhat irrelevant but the Pokedex showed that Pikipek is the first of a 3-stage evolution. --Buffbills7701 (talk) 18:55, 14 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Origin

Can it be put in that it is based off of a Pileated Woodpecker please? Playerking95 (talk) 20:29, 14 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Tiki?
