Sorry for putting this up before it was finished. I was in the process of making the page and I accidentally hit "save page" instead of "show preview." >_<; I will be finishing all the attacks and making the notes consistent. Again, I am very sorry for putting this up before it was completed - it was a highly unprofessional mistake! --Frost 05:27, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry about it. We've got some incomplete pages, so I put up the {{incomplete}} template and added some information. Just make sure that you capitalize stats (Special Attack instead of special attack) and types of move (Physical move instead of physical attack). Don't forget to link appropriately. I don't really think that this page is necessary since it's plainly obvious that Physical and Special attacks do damage. Llxwarbirdxll 02:52, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Updated to Gen V?

I was looking over this page because of the "outdated" category it was in. I'm guessing that it needs to updated to include the moves and statistics from Generation V? I was looking for something that needed work and could help me get more familiar with the wikicode. If I'm right about what this article needs, I'll start trying it out. I just wanted to confirm first. Crystal Talian 12:07, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

No longer outdated?

I have added all the Gen V moves and updated the statistics of moves that changed between gens IV and V. Is it all right to removed the "Outdated" label? I was going to do it myself, but I wasn't sure if it needed to be replaced with something else or something. Thanks. Crystal Talian 05:00, 20 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Shadow and PMD-exclusive moves

Should they be added to this list as well? ht14 03:37, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Is it really necessary to include the Moves that call other moves thing?

no, it's just explicit; "no status moves included" is just the consequence (hence "notably"))

What? I don't understand that. Unowninator (talk) 22:43, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Since moves that call other moves can deal damage, some mention of them is warranted on the page. Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:54, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
Okay, well then why not mention Status moves like Leech Seed or Stealth Rock? (Shall I name more examples?) Unowninator (talk) 23:05, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
Those are less direct damage. (Even than a move called by another.) If you want something more explicit: Leech Seed and Stealth Rock will not faint the target as an immediate result of the move being executed. Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:12, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
