This disk could be obtained by successfully capturing Charizard while playing the Charizard Valley Course, which could be unlocked on any arcade unit by scanning the corresponding Ga-Olé Ticket. The ticket itself was as an insert in the September 2016 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on August 12, 2016. The ticket expired after September 30, 2016.
