Gabite can be found as an SOS Pokemon in this area (provided there is a sandstorm ongoing). I don't know all the details like what levels it is or the percent chance of it happening. --Song of the Dragon (talk) 00:10, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
Safety Goggles unlock
I can confirm that you have to defeat the Ula'ula island kahuna, Nanu, before being able to acquire the Safety Goggles, much like the Return/Frustration TM's and Reaper Cloth on Ula'Ula. I checked many times beforehand after being able to access the desert itself, and I immediately left Aether Paradise to go and get the Goggles after you are automatically taken there after defeating Nanu.
