(Japanese: 出るかZワザ!大試練への挑戦!! Will the Z-Move Work! Face the Grand Trial!!) is the tenth episode of the Sun & Moon series, and the 949th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on January 12, 2017.
Plot
Major events
- Ash and Pikachu perform Breakneck Blitz for the first time.
- Ash battles Hala and wins clearing the Melemele grand trial.
- Hala goes to give a Fightinium Z, but at the last second, Tapu Koko replaces it with a Electrium Z, which Ash takes instead.
- All-Out Pummeling is shown for the first time.
