Reversal (Japanese: きしかいせい Reversal) is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation II.

Effect

Reversal's power is higher when the user's HP is lower. It is calculated with the following formula:

P = (48 * CurrentHP) ÷ MaxHP

P ~HP% Power
P > 32 > 69% 20
17 ≤ P ≤ 32 35% - 69% 40
10 ≤ P ≤ 16 21% - 35% 80
5 ≤ P ≤ 9 10% - 21% 100
2 ≤ P ≤ 4 4% - 10% 150
P ≤ 1 < 4% 200

Reversal can be used as part of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining extra two appeal points if the move Endure was used in the prior turn. It is also part of a Contest Spectacular combination and will give extra three appeal points if the move Endure was used in the prior turn.
