"Strong winds"

The game doesn't use "strong winds" when the ability activates. IIRC, it uses something like "mysterious aura". When I get home, I'll check, but it's not strong winds. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 18:13, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

That came from the same place as "extremely harsh sunlight"/"heavy rain" for Desolate Land/Primordial Sea. Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:22, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I didn't realize the official website used that term. Sorry about that. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 19:26, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Strong winds

Super Mystery Dungeons refers to it as such. Eridanus (talk) 08:30, 4 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Core series games > spin-off games > other officially published material, but it could still be mentioned, as well as whatever it's called in other languages as "strong winds". --Abcboy (talk) 11:23, 4 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Super-effective removal

Is there a reason to doubt that super-effectivity against Flying types is just removed/overridden, similar to how Ground ineffectiveness is by Iron Ball etc.? (In particular, is the message "weakened the move" still followed by "very effective" even if Flying was the only weakness?) In other words, is there a specific reason to assume Expert Belt is not "etc." when we say "for the purposes of damage-reducing Berries, Weakness Policy, etc."?
