Togedemaru (Japanese: トゲデマル Togedemaru) is a Lightning-type Basic Pokémon card. It is one of the SM Black Star Promos.

The spiny fur on its back is normally at rest. When this Pokémon becomes agitated, its fur stands on end and stabs into its attackers.

Release information
In Japan, this card was released with artwork by Sanosuke Sakuma as one of the SM-P Promotional cards, numbered 024/SM-P, awarded to participants of the Welcome Festa held at the Sunshine City Convention Center in East Ikebukuro, Toshima, Tokyo on January 14, 2017. It features the Welcome Festa logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. Togedemaru was reprinted in Japan as a SM-P Promo numbered 039/SM-P, available as a participation prize at both the 2017 Osaka Champion's League, held at MyDome Osaka, Osaka on February 18 and 19, 2017 and at the 2017 Miyagi Champion's League, held at Sunfesta, Sendai on April 1 and 2, 2017. This print features the Champion's League 2017 logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.
This card was released in English as an SM Black Star Promo with new artwork by the same artist. It was included in the Sun & Moon Collector's Album 2-Pack Blister, released April 17, 2017.
