The Buginium Z (Japanese: ムシZ Bug-Z) is a type of Z-Crystal introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon. It is the type-specific Z-Crystal associated with the Bug type, and allows Pokémon to upgrade their Bug-type moves to Z-Moves.

In battle
Allows the holder to upgrade their Bug-type damaging moves to the Z-Move Savage Spin-Out or upgrade their Bug-type status moves into corresponding Z-Moves.
Multitype changes an Arceus holding this item to its Bug-type form. Item-manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot give Arceus a Z-Crystal or remove a Z-Crystal from Arceus.
Holding a Z-Crystal makes Rayquaza unable to Mega Evolve.
Outside of battle
