This is a list of Online Competitions for the Generation VII core series games.
List
Battle of Alola
The Battle of Alola (Japanese: アローラビギニング Alola Beginning) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from December 16 (00:00 UTC) to 18 (23:59 UTC), 2016. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least three battles received 50 Battle Points.
The competition was held using the Battle of Alola rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 60 seconds to select an action each turn.
Participants could play up to 15 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective competitors could register from December 7 (00:00 UTC) to 15 (23:59 UTC), 2016.[1] The competition was limited to 50,000 participants in each division. There were 2,031 participants in the Junior Division and 34,325 in the Masters Division.
Alola Friendly
The Alola Friendly (Japanese: アローラフレンドリー Alola Friendly) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from January 27 (00:00 UTC) to 29 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least three battles received 50 Battle Points.
The competition was held using the Alola Friendly rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 60 seconds to select an action each turn.
Participants could play up to 15 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective competitors could register from January 19 (00:00 UTC) to 26 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[2] The competition was limited to 50,000 participants in each division. There were 2,122 participants in the Junior Division and 24,799 in the Masters Division.
2017 International Challenge February
The 2017 International Challenge February (Japanese: 2017 International Challenge February) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from February 24 (00:00 UTC) to 26 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least three battles received a Mawilite and Beedrillite. Qualifying players who were opted into the Play! Pokémon program could earn Championship Points.
The competition was held using the 2017 World Championships Rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 45 seconds to select an action each turn.
Participants could play up to 15 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective competitors could register from February 16 (00:00 UTC) to 23 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[3] The competition was originally limited to 50,000 participants in each division. There were 11,093 participants in the Junior Division and 116,637 in the Masters Division.
Kanto x Alola Regional Rumble
The Kanto x Alola Regional Rumble (Japanese: カントー×アローラ Kanto × Alola) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from March 17 (00:00 UTC) to 19 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least three battles received a Pidgeotite and Steelixite.
The competition was held using the Kanto x Alola Regional Rumble rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 45 seconds to select an action each turn.
Participants could play up to 15 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective competitors could register from March 9 (00:00 UTC) to 16 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[4] There were 6,005 participants in the Junior Division and 64,287 in the Masters Division.
2017 International Challenge April
The 2017 International Challenge April (Japanese: 2017 International Challenge April) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from April 28 (00:00 UTC) to 30 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least three battles received a Swampertite, Sceptilite, and Blazikenite. Qualifying players who were opted into the Play! Pokémon program could earn Championship Points.

Pokémon Japan Championships 2017 Qualifiers
The Pokémon Japan Championships 2017 Qualifiers (Japanese: ポケモンジャパンチャンピオンシップス2017予選) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon exclusively for Japanese players. Separate Junior Division, Senior Division, and Masters Division competitions were run; the Junior Division was reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2006 and the Senior Division for players born between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2005. This competition was used to determine which players would represent Japan at the 2017 World Championships. All players who completed at least three battles received a Swampertite, Sceptilite, and Blazikenite.
The Junior and Senior Divisions were held from April 28 (00:00 UTC) to 30 (23:59 UTC), 2017. The Masters Division was broken up into five separate two-day periods that ran each Friday (00:00 UTC) to Saturday (23:59 UTC) for five successive weeks from April 15 to May 7, 2017.
The competition was held using the 2017 World Championships Rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 45 seconds to select an action each turn.
Junior and Senior Division participants could play up to 15 battles per day while Masters Division participants could play up to 20 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective Junior and Senior Division competitors could register from March 30 (00:00 UTC) to April 28 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[6] There were 998 participants in the Junior Division and 3,488 in the Senior Division.
Prospective Masters Division competitors could register from March 30 (00:00 UTC) to April 15 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[6] There were 23,307 participants in Group A, 9,286 in Group B, 6,318 in Group C, 5,935 in Group D, and 5,287 in Group E.
2017 International Challenge May
The 2017 International Challenge May (Japanese: 2017 International Challenge May) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from May 26 (00:00 UTC) to 28 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least three battles received a Tyranitarite, Abomasite, and Manectite. Qualifying players who were opted into the Play! Pokémon program could earn Championship Points.
The competition was held using the 2017 World Championships Rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 45 seconds to select an action each turn.

tiny tourney
The tiny tourney (Japanese: プリティプリマ Pretty Prima) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from June 23 (00:00 UTC) to 25 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least three battles received a Galladite, Gardevoirite, and Lopunnite.
The competition was held using the tiny tourney rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 45 seconds to select an action each turn.
Participants could play up to 15 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective competitors could register from June 14 (00:00 UTC) to 22 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[8] There were 4,011 participants in the Junior Division and 43,750 in the Masters Division.
Weakness Cup
The Weakness Cup (Japanese: ポケモン危機一髪! Pokémon Close Call!) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from July 28 (00:00 UTC) to 30 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least three battles received a Ampharosite, Altarianite, Latiosite, and Latiasite.
The competition was held using the Weakness Cup rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 45 seconds to select an action each turn.
Participants could play up to 15 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective competitors could register from July 20 (00:00 UTC) to 27 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[9] There were 2,815 participants in the Junior Division and 29,135 in the Masters Division.
2017 No Holds Barred
The 2017 No Holds Barred (Japanese: シャドースチール Shadow Steal) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from August 25 (00:00 UTC) to 27 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least one battle received 50 Battle Points.
The competition was held using the 2017 No Holds Barred rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 30 seconds to select an action each turn.
Participants could play up to 15 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective competitors could register from August 17 (00:00 UTC) to 24 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[10] There were 1,763 participants in the Junior Division and 14,469 in the Masters Division.
Mega Melee
The Mega Melee (Japanese: メガランブル Mega Rumble) is an Online Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon that was held from September 22 (00:00 UTC) to 24 (23:59 UTC), 2017. Separate Junior Division and Masters Division competitions were run simultaneously, with the Junior Division being reserved for players born on or after January 1, 2002. All players who completed at least one battle received 50 Battle Points.
The competition was held using the Mega Melee rules. Participants had 90 seconds to select their Pokémon during team preview. Players had up to 10 minutes of Your Time, limited to 30 seconds to select an action each turn.
Participants could play up to 15 battles per day (a new day begins at 00:00 UTC), with any battles that were not completed rolling over to the next day. In the Junior Division, players could only battle from 6 am to 10:59 pm, based on the easternmost time zone in each player's country.
Prospective competitors could register from September 14 (00:00 UTC) to 21 (23:59 UTC), 2017.[11] There were 1,285 participants in the Junior Division and 10,173 in the Masters Division.
