Misty's Staryu (Japanese: カスミのヒトデマン Kasumi's Hitodeman) is a Water-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Gym Challenge expansion.
Card text
Flip a coin. If heads, return Misty's Staryu and all cards attached to it to your hand. (Either way, this attack does its damage.)

Release information
In Japan, this card was released as a promotional card with artwork by Ken Sugimori, distributed alongside Brock's Onix in the March 1998 issue of CoroCoro comic. It was reprinted in the Japanese Hanada City Gym Theme Deck with new artwork by the same artist. This print was later included in the Gym Challenge expansion, having been previously reprinted in the Japanese Leaders' Stadium expansion.
