This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Japanese Dragon Storm subset. The Regular print features artwork by Ken Sugimori, while the Full Art print features artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita.

Blaine is a Gym Leader in Kanto. The Cinnabar Gym as it appears in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen is featured in the regular print's illustration, which also includes a photograph of Blaine and Mr. Fuji.
