Lieutenent Banks is a character from the Pokémon anime who appeared in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. He is Kidd Summers' commander. His Japanese voice actor is Takeshi Aono and his English voice actor is Pete Zarustica.
When Kidd discovered the Tree of Beginning, she immediately began sending transmissions to Banks so they could find out more about it. Their communications were briefly interrupted when the Tree began to fall apart. When everything was back to normal, Banks agreed with Kidd's suggestion that tourists not be allowed to access the tree.
Some believe that Banks may be the one responsible for putting Kidd into the record books.
