Ash's Seaking (Japanese: サトシのアズマオウ Satoshi's Azumao) was the seventh Pokémon that Ash caught in the Johto region, and his twentieth overall.

History

Seaking made its only appearance in Hook, Line, and Stinker. During the Seaking Catching Day, Ash reeled in Seaking and had Pikachu weaken it with Thunderbolt, before catching it in a Lake Ball. Seaking was not large enough for him to win the competition though. Afterwards, Ash was forced to release it under the contest rules.

Personality and characteristics

Due to its lack of screen time, little is known about Seaking. There is not enough known about it to even distinguish it from other Seaking. However, Seaking has proved itself to be quite strong, being able to put up quite a fight before Ash was able to reel it in. According to Ash, it is also reasonably large, although it was not large enough for him to win the Seaking Catching Day.

Trivia

• Seaking was Ash's only Pokémon to be caught in an anime-exclusive Poké Ball variant.
