Yamper (Japanese: ワンパチ Wanpachi) is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.

- Yamper shares its category with Growlithe, Lillipup and Rockruff. They are all known as the Puppy Pokémon.
Origin
Yamper may be based on a Welsh corgi.
Name origin
Yamper may be a combination of yap, ampere, or scamper.
Wanpachi may be a combination of ワンワン wanwan (onomatopoeia for barking) and パチパチ pachipachi (onomatopoeia for crackling).
