Ability
I had a Smoochum with Oblivious that evolved into a Jynx with Forewarn. Is this supposed to happen?
This was done in Pearl, but the Smoochum itself was migrated from LeafGreen. It may have something to do with the fact that Forewarn doesn't exist in LeafGreen, but does in Pearl. Can someone confirm this for me? Thanks. --Someone Else 07:16, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- every pokemon has a "class" these classesd are what give pokemon their abilities. a first class smoochum and junx have oblivious. a second class have forewarn. now, i havnt testd it myself, but if what im thinking is true, then you migrated a second class smoochum. now, because there were no forwarn in LG, then it became that because of its class. thats not 100% confirrmed, but, i think thats what happened. If Jynx is 100% female, how will you have breed a Jynx to get a Smoochum?!

Colour
Not sure if this is notable enough to be in the trivia section, but although Smoochum is in the Pink Pokédex catagory, it is commonly depicted as being purple, a notable instance being the "Smoochum Purple" Pokémon Mini console Vuvuzela2010 19:43, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
Name?
Both Jynx and Smoochum's name in French is listed as being Lippoutou. The origin for Jynx says it's based on 'lip' and 'kiss', while Smoochum's says 'lip', 'kiss', and 'petit'. Which is correct? And what's the other one then? Magentafeelings (talk) 23:03, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
