Trivia
Origin
Appletun is based on a dragon with elements from apple pie. Its dual typing is also based on the Forbidden fruit, which is associated with both the apple and the serpent.
Name origin
Appletun may be a combination of apple and ton (weight). It may also be a play on apple turnover.
Taruppuru may be a combination of tart, 怠い tarui (sluggish), たっぷり tappuri (onomatopoetic word for plenty), and apple.
