Card text
Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent's
Pokémon VMAX.
Discard a Special Energy from your opponent's Active Pokémon.
Release information
This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art card, and as a Secret card in the Sword & Shield expansion, first released in the Japanese Shield expansion, each with artwork by aky CG Works. A Jumbo version of the Regular print lacking its type, Weakness, Resistance, retreat cost, Ability, Energy cost, and Evolution Stage was available in the Galar Collection released November 15, 2019. The Regular print was reprinted as one of the SWSH Black Star Promos with new artwork by the same artist, available in the Legends of Galar Tins released May 22, 2020. This print was subsequently available in the Japanese Shiny Star V subset. A gold Full Art print with artwork also by aky CG Works was included in the Sword & Shield Ultra-Premium Collection—Zacian & Zamazenta and Sword & Shield Elite Trainer Box Plus—Zamazenta as another SWSH Black Star Promo, released on November 20, 2020. In Japan, this print was also included in the Shiny Star V subset.
