Kenta Miyake (Japanese: 三宅健太 Miyake Kenta) is a Japanese voice actor for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Miyake was born on August 23, 1977, in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. He mostly played characters of the day in the Pokémon anime until the death of Hirotaka Suzuoki, the original voice actor for Giovanni. As a result, starting in Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, Miyake took over the role of the Team Rocket leader, in addition to playing other characters. Throughout his career, Miyake was typecast as muscular and overweight people with deeper voices. He is currently affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce and won the Best Supporting Actor Award during the 13th Seiyu Awards.
