Heatran

Heatran is listed as a pure fire type in the TM listing, I would change it, but I don't know how. --[[User:Improv]] 12:43, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

I got it. Thanks for the heads up. =] SL-samacontribs 12:44, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Vulpix

Why was the part of "and the only non-Fire-type Pokemon to learn Will-o-wisp" in the trivia removed? That had to stay and it was true. - unsigned comment from Makupe (talkcontribs)

Ghost Type

In my LeafGreen Will-O-Wisp is considered a Ghost-type move. I assume that this means that it was considered Ghost-type in Generation III. I was curious as to whether or not there was a reason that this was not in the Trivia section. If it should be, should I add it or will someone else. I ask because I am new. - unsigned comment from WingZeroAlchemist (talkcontribs)

Will-O-Wisp has never been a Ghost-type move. Some people seem to think it is because it is commonly learned by Ghost-type Pokémon, but the moves summary screen shows it as a Fire-type move. Werdnae (talk) 00:44, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

Translation

Just a nitpick on the translation of the move's Japanese name. I happen to know that onibi doesn't mean "Will-O-Wisp"; it actually translates to "devil fire". I have to wonder why "Will-O-Wisp" is there. SharKing Productions 23:13, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Magmar

Apparently Paul's Magmar/Magmortar used Will-o-Wisp, but it's not mentioned on this page. Could somebody fix that?

Orcalapras 00:41, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

Magmar was never seen using the move. Since it wasn't seen, it can't be added. Also, don't forget to sign your posts by typing ing the four ~. Littlmiget123 00:54, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

Absol

I just had a Sableye with Prankster use Will-O-Wisp on an Absol with Justified... and it had no affect. Absol is not a Fire-type, and was not holding any items that can weaken or immunize Will-O-Wisp, so I do not know how this was possible. UxieLover1994 (talk) 08:22, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

See Prankster (Ability). In Generation VII, Dark-type Pokémon are immune to moves that have their priority boosted by Prankster. --SnorlaxMonster 08:29, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Tournament performance Trivia

Would the infamous number of misses of this move by Aaron "Cybertron" Zheng at Worlds one year be a reasonable thing to add? romaji for short (talk) 19:49, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

No.--ForceFire 07:13, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
