WikiDex is a Spanish Pokémon wiki that serves the Pokémon community in Spain and in Latin America. WikiDex was originally hosted on Fandom (formerly Wikia), but on August 11, 2017, it became an independent site. The following May, WikiDex would become a member of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis, a multi-lingual group of wikis documenting all aspects of Pokémon.
History
WikiDex was founded on March 14, 2006 by DragonTrainer on the website host Fandom, then called Wikia.
On August 11, 2017, due to disagreements with Fandom, WikiDex became an independent wiki;[1] WikiDex referred to this incident as FANDOOM. WikiDex joined Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis the following May, replacing the defunct Pokéteca as the Spanish-language member.
