In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, pasture is a place constructed in Jubilife Village. The Player Character can manualy leave Pokémon here or automaticly if Player Character has more than 6 Pokémon in his party. Pastures are present-day counterparts to Boxes. When Pokémon Home will be compatible with Pokémon Legends: Arceus this will be only way to transfer Pokémon between these two games.

Pokémon in Pastures

Player's Pokémon in Pastures cannot be ussually interacted. More Pokémon player leaves here, more pastures will be available. Maximum is 31 pastures or 930 Pokémon per game. Everywhere in Hisui (except in Ancient Retreat more on that later) can Pokémon be switched between pastures and parties if you interact with certain NPCs in the game.

Interactable NPCs

Marie (Game)

Marie is owner/creator of Pokémon Pastures in Hisui. She lives Jubilife Village alongsite many other residents. If you interact with her she give you a options what to do with your Pastures. Move Pokémon, Releasing Pokémon or doing nothing.

Galaxy Member

Galaxy Member has simmular job as Marie, but instead of Marie, Galaxy Member is available everywhere (except Ancient Retreat). He can move Pokémon, Release Pokémon and do Nothing at all - just like Marie.

Cyllene's Abra

Cyllene's Abra teleports during the climax of the story to the Ancient Retreat too help you with organizing Pokémon in Pastures. It reacts normal like Marie and Galaxy Member. After you get back to the village, Cyllene's Abra vanishes. This is only way to use pastures in Ancient Retreat.

Pokémon Releasing

Releasing a Pokémon works simmular to Pokémon Storage System. If you select your Pokémon that you planning to release this Dialog will appear:

Release Dialog

,,Do you wish to release the Pokémon you've selected?''

- Yes

- No

If you choose Yes: ,,You let the Pokémon go. Farewell, and take care!''

If you choose No: (Nothing Happens)

After you release pokémon you recieve a bonus. This Dialog will appear: Marie: ,,It seems the Pokémon you released back into the wild left a little something behind you.''

Player then recieves certain ammount of Grit Gravel, Grit Dust and Grit Pebble!

Other Actions

If you want to complete certain requests or trade with others using the Trading Station you can select Pokémon from Pokémon Pastures and not just your Party.
