Insert a picture showing off Action Order here Action Order (Japanese: ? ?) is a new gameplay system introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Unlike all previous core titles where Pokémon took turns simultaneously, turns now occur in a set order which may allow for a Pokémon to have multiple turns in a row.

Mechanics

At the beginning of battle, the first 6 turns will have their order calculated, which the player can see at any time by pressing Y to toggle a menu detailing the order. Each Pokémon is given a wait timer, which the game repeatedly subtracts 1 from until either Pokémon's wait timer becomes 0. When a Pokémon's wait timer reaches 0, the game will award that Pokémon the first turn of the battle and reset the wait timer of the Pokémon who earned that turn to its default value. The game will then repeat this method to calculate the order of any subsequent turns.

A Pokémon's default wait time is determined by its Speed Stat.
