Icicle Forest (Japanese: ひょうちゅうのもり Icicle Forest) is a dungeon found only in In the Future of Darkness, a Special Episode in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.

This dungeon is unlocked after completing Dark Ice Mountain. It has a total of ten floors. In the forest, there are icicles and ice pillars imbued with electrical energy that, when touched, will slowly drain the characters' consciousness.

Gameplay

As this is a Special Episode dungeon, the player cannot recruit Pokémon inside and cannot be rescued if knocked out.

The dungeon uses two floor layouts

  • Medium-sized, with 3-9 rooms on floors 4 and 7 and 3-8 rooms on floors 1 an d10
  • Large-sized, with:
    • 3-9 rooms on floors 2 and 9
    • 3-10 rooms on floors 3 and 8
    • 3-12 rooms on floors 5 and 6

There's 3-6 items on each floor and 2-5 items buried in the walls. There's 2-3 starting enemies on each floor.

The IQ Booster does not activate in this dungeon. The turn limit is 1000. There is water on floors 3, 5 and 7. There is light darkness in the dungeon. The enemies in this dungeon have 26IQ.
