Release information
In Japan, this card was released as a S-P Promotional card and was given away as part of the "P-Lab." project, a collaborative merchandise campaign between the Pokémon Card Game, the Japanese fashion brand Graniph, and Japanese content creator Hajime Syacho. Starting May 31, 2022, customers who purchased at least one "P-Lab." item from Graniph stores (in-store or online) were given a copy of this card, as were customers who made an eligible purchase from participating Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, or from the Pokémon Center Online.[1] Giveaways were limited to one per person and the campaign ran for as long as stocks lasted.
Trivia
- The timestamp in the illustration is a reference to Hajime Syacho's birthday. Pichu's facial expression in the illustration was also based on suggestions made by Syacho during the design process.[2]
- Several of the "P-Lab." project items feature a representation of this card with English text.
