Yes, Quark Drive does activate on ungrounded Pokémon, such as Iron Jugulis. I just watched a video where Pimpnite used all of the Future Pokémon, except for Miraidon.HenryWong122 (talk) 14:34, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

Boosted Stat
Ive noticed that the ability only increases the highest stat at the moment the ability is activated. The boost towards that stat remains even if the highest stat has been changed afterwards. (e.g. Iron Valiant has its Speed boosted by Quark Drive.and uses Swords Dance, even if its Attack becomes its new highest stat Quark Drive will still boost its Speed.) I assume its the same for Protosynthesis.
