Diamond and Pearl?

Short question: is he in the game? Looks like they added him in Emerald, removed him in D/P and readded him in Platinum onwards. hfc2X 08:39, 15 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Redundancy

In the Gen III section, is there any reason to have both the table and the quotes? I was almost bold enough to change it myself, but thought I should get some others' opinions first. The table adds nothing, so I really think we should cut it (and, while we're at it, go get the exact quotes from Pt and then cut that table, too, so all three Gen sections will match). Anyone agree/disagree? Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 22:07, 17 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I agree there is a lot of redundancy in this article (given that the ranges for each description have always been the same) and it could really benefit from some better organization overall. I just added a summary table near the top of the article, un-headered much of the Gen 3 section, and cut out some of the redundancy from Gen-specific sections in general. --Stratelier 20:05, 28 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Official name?

Does this guy have an official name? I've never seen it. (Wondering whether the article should be tagged as {{unknown name}} or not.) --Stratelier 23:25, 29 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

The Gen III and V iterations seem to have official names (given in the first sentence of their respective sections of this article), but it doesn't sound like the group as a whole has a name. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 23:33, 29 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Gen V judge assessments

When he evaluates the Pokémon, he gives a qualitative statement about their highest IV, as well as their overall potential. We don't currently have a list of all of the statements he gives, let alone the meaning behind them. I did find he said one of my Pokémon's IVs "can't be better", indicating that he can identify perfect IVs. --SnorlaxMonster 06:27, 22 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Never mind, it's at the top of the page, rather than in each section. I saw the Gen III and VI sections had it and thought Gen IV and V were missing it. --SnorlaxMonster 06:37, 22 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Gen VII: Stat ranges

How would you go about the stat ranges (no good, decent, average, pretty good, fantatisc, best)? I've been thinking of checking the IVs on every pokemon I have to try and see if I can find a pokemon with each value from 0 to 31 and see if I can categorize them.

Gen IX: Judge availability

The judge is not available after only the champion assessment (as the article currently states). Most sources point to "after the credits" as being the threshold, but the nurse says, "Now that you have the Hall of Fame Badge, I've unlocked the judge function for you" in the dialogue when the judge function is awarded. For reference, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oz52l0avdrY The badge is only awarded in the post-game after the credits, but I didn't check if it's skippable or not. Can anyone confirm that the badge is required as the nurse indicates, or is it just any time after the credits? - unsigned comment from Kereth Midknight (talkcontribs)

Gen V Stat judge availability

Reaching the credits seem too ambiguous because it is very unclear what is meant by credits. Does it mean by earning BPs or entering Hall of Fame? What I have found from the BW and B2W2 gameplay is that stats judge still does not appear after earning BPs from PWT nor Battle Subway. He instead appeared after defeating GhetsisBW or entering Hall of FameB2W2. I think changing the phrase with credits to Hall of fame would be more clearer.
