It is said that a Kirlia that is exposed to the positive emotions of its Trainer grows beautiful. This Pokémon controls psychokinetic powers with its highly developed brain.


Release information

This card is one of the 46 cards first released in September 2003 in the English EX Sandstorm expansion before the release of their Japanese prints. The Japanese print was later released on October 24 in the Magma VS Aqua: Two Ambitions expansion. It was later reprinted in the English EX Dragon Frontiers expansion, first released in the Japanese Imprison! Gardevoir ex Constructed Standard Deck.

Trivia

This is one of only four cards in EX Dragon Frontiers which isn't a Delta Species. The others are Ralts, Larvitar and Pupitar.

Origin

Psyshock's Japanese name is that of Confusion, a move in the Pokémon games that Kirlia can learn. This card's e-Reader Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby.
