Shogakukan Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社小学館 Kabushiki-gaisha Shōgakukan) is a Japanese publisher of dictionaries, literature, manga, non-fiction, DVDs, and other media in Japan. Additionally, Shogakukan is the publisher of Pokémon Adventures, CoroCoro, and other Pokémon media.
Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd. (Japanese: 株式会社小学館集英社プロダクション Kabushiki-gaisha Shōgakukan-Shueisha Productions), or ShoPro for short, is a subsidiary of Shogakukan, Shueisha, and Hakusensha that produces and markets the Pokémon anime and movies as well as merchandise under its Pokémon Business Division.
Their subsidiary, Shogakukan Asia, publishes English-language Pokémon manga.
