The Secret Slab (Japanese: ひみつのせきばん Secret Stone Slab) is an item that appears in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It is functionally identical to the Mystery Part. When one is in the bag, certain Legendary or Mythical Pokémon will appear on preset dungeon floors. The majority of them only appear after the player and their partner have recruited Manaphy and he tells them about the Marine Resort.

Codes

The Mystery Part and Secret Slab are obtained as rewards from random missions after the player's team reaches Diamond Rank, such as the one in the following Wonder Mail password:

X-HY NSM8 6&3&
2Q&P 520# 7WQ8
Objective: Rescue Typhlosion on floor 7 of Treeshroud Forest.

For Explorers of Sky, here is a Wonder Mail S Code:

Q@M=X QYC7R9S X@R67
5%@KM 5R#6J%8 65NP@
Objective: Prospect with Rotom on floor 1 of Beach Cave.

Note: Rotom also joins the party, however, the player may decline.

Only one of each Legendary species can be obtained.

Trivia

  • While most legendaries recruitable by this method require the unlocking of Marine Resort, Raikou, Entei, Lugia, Ho-Oh and Deoxys do not require this, and can be found before Manaphy tells the player about Marine Resort.
  • Deoxys can spawn in Temporal Tower with this item. However, as Temporal Tower does not allow the normal recruiting of Pokémon, Deoxys at Temporal Tower cannot be recruited.
