Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Tavisource!

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

  • For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
  • The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
  • The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.
  • The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a captial B (which is, again, accessed by holding Shift and pressing the B key). The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
  • The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon media. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, not a walkthrough.
  • On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
  • The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
  • If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
  • A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
  • A list of the admins that you can contact in case of a problem, can be found here.

Thank you, and have a good time editing here!PokeManiac102 16:55, 2 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I just have to say sorry, and great job!--KukiTalk 23:06, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Maybe, you could add age to Tracey's Scyther, make May's Squirtle look younger, and add Jessie's Dustox's ribbons--KukiTalk 23:19, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's all right, Kuki. I don't think it could be possible to change the ages without changing the original sprites completely. But I'll see what I can do for Dustox. :)Taviource 23:22, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
There, I have finished Ash's Sceptile, Squirtle, Primeape, Butterfree, and Jessie's Dustox. Oh! and I forgot to say earlier that in order to make Pokemon look younger, I would have to make the sprite much smaller because that is basically the main difference. So as I said beofore, I'm sorry that it won't work without corrupting the original sprite.--Taviource 23:45, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bibarel's headband?--KukiTalk 23:53, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is there even a page for Isis? I've never checked. I go and take a look.Taviource 23:55, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, it was originally Ishisu--KukiTalk 23:58, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

No you are not done! Remember Taisei's Piplup with that flower headband thingy??--KukiTalk 00:23, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm pretty sure it's a tiara and not a headband.--Taviource 02:02, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Celebi from movie 4, but with the dark circles in the eyes--KukiTalk 21:53, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Janina's sparkly Onix, with table--KukiTalk 22:11, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Onix is done and ready!--Taviource 22:47, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is it possible for you to do a sprite of Tracey Sketchit? --ケンジガール 23:04, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Everything's possible. I get it done ASAP! I'll get to work right away.--Taviource 23:06, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Awesome ^^ Thanx! --ケンジガール 23:06, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Eep! It looks awesome! --ケンジガール 23:38, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

How about a Ritchie?--KukiTalk 23:41, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for catching the mistake. I'll fix it. I'll get Ritchie after my dinner break alright?--Taviource 23:43, 5 June 2008 (UTC)eReply

Where u from? I already had dinner--KukiTalk 23:46, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've just finished my dinner. I currently live in Illinois in the U.S. I'll be moving to California in about 3 weeks. Take the UTC time and subtract 5 hours. THat's the time over here.--Taviource 00:05, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I live in NY, meaning we'll be 3 hours apart! DYP (Damn your parents!)--KukiTalk 00:09, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

MY EYES!!! Ritchie is too brite!--KukiTalk 00:37, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
They aren't shaded right. Most of the items just look like they've been sticked to a picture like a sticker. tc26 01:27, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
im digging the Squirtle and the Primeape.C is for Cookie
Let's make Ritchie bright and shine like a happy person! And thanks. I have just finished Morrison for you all! Making Alternations of sprites is simply adding on items onto the Pokemon sprites or it won't be called "Sprite alternation." I decided to take on this job because the previous ones that some people did were not as great (no offense). But making characters are different. I usually take a character sprite from the game, similar to the character I'm making and basically erase their hair and change the color of the clothes. It sounds easy, but it takes a long time!--Taviource 01:58, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've got 4 more spritee alternations for u:

1. Nurse Joy's Chansey

2. Nurse Joy's Blissey

3. Nurse Joy's Croagunk

4. Madame Munchmoney's Snubbull/Granbull

C ya--KukiTalk 12:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's alot!--Taviource 15:47, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Talk Page Comments

Please don't erase talk page comments for no reason. Trust me, you do NOT want to end up like Big Johnno, who got into an edit war with a sysop over comments the former had erased and was trying to keep erased. That user ended up blocked and subsequently had every erased comment restored. --Shiningpikablu252 22:05, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

--Alright, Thanks:Taviource 22:07, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bellsprout

The consensus surrounding the Bellsprout from the episode where a COTD catches a Bellsprout with Ash's Poké Ball is that the Bellsprout should NOT be considered Ash's by any stretch of the imagination. Please don't edit Ash's page claiming the Bellsprout should belong to Ash. --Shiningpikablu252 22:33, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

--But Brock caught a Tauros with Ash's Poké Ball. Taviource 22:36, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

And he returned the Poké Ball to Ash. It's the Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links08:34 28 May 2008
Then why's Tauros on Brock's page???Taviource 15:06, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mesprit

You know, I started a talk on the "connection" between Cyrus and Mesprit yesterday. Basically, it's talking about Mr. I Think Emotions are Useless. It's on this Mesprit. BlueJirachi 16:02, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I know--Taviource 16:04, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh, okay. BlueJirachi 16:36, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

okay what?...--Taviource 16:38, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

That you know about it. And, by the way, nice Shaymin sprite! It looks EXACTLY like PurpleKecleon's artwork!

Sprites

Uh, yeah. Yesterday I was told not to have any images in my sig. It's the new Signature Policy. Just telling you about it.BlueJirachi 16:42, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, it's not in my signature and I saw you get told that. But it still looks good.Taviource 16:44, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

You were watching me? BlueJirachi 16:46, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, I saw thewords that told you. And I was watching the Recent Changes page.Taviource 16:47, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh. I'm not good with sprites. I'm more of an artist. BlueJirachi 16:50, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm way better at drawing too, but horrible at coloring. My parents always go around and brags about how good my drawings are. Ever since I won 1st prize at this one Art show, my parents wanted me to earn money by selling my drawings on the internet.Taviource 16:52, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

My friends at school (and even my teacher) say the same thing. "Sell your art on the Internet. You could get millions."BlueJirachi 16:55, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

But sometimes I would think, "Who would buy them anyways?" I'm not the only one in this world who could draw like that. I'm usually better at sketching.--Taviource 16:59, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Once the guys finally get it done, we'll all get back to editing our User pages.BlueJirachi 17:27, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Link Templates

Please use link templates when linking to stuff such as Pokémon names, attacks, and the like. For example, {{p|Onix}} instead of just [[Onix]]. This is so you don't unintentionally link to a disambiguation page.

For a full crash course on link templates, look at the shortlinks. --Shiningpikablu252 22:24, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's up

The first of the Zero Isle divisions are up: Zero Isle North! Took me a while to get the list of Pokémon in, there's a lot. BlueJirachi 02:42, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Impressive! You did a very good job. I usually don't have the patience for things like that. Bulbapedia deserves your love!--Taviource 02:45, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reindeer Pokemon

I had been zooming up on the so called "possible form of Shaymin" and I realized that it is not a Shaymin, but a REINDEER! The red is appears to be its tail. IT has yellow ears and two large ANTLERS. I'm using my talk page as this Pokemon's Talk Page. This could be the Pre-evolutional form of Stantler! First, we need a name for it...--Taviource 18:17, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Doubtful that it's a pre-stantler. I think it's a eeveelution, or (as much as i'm against it) an new shaymin.LordKaien 18:31, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

They already have Glaceon and Leafeon. It looks like... something... BlueJirachi 18:35, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

BlueJirachi's right. Why would an Eevee be evolving into a Reindeer?--Taviource 18:36, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I just noticed something. go here: http://www.pokemon.co.jp/special/festa2008 and look at the picture of all the pokemon. What do (most) of them have in common?LordKaien 18:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Um...they all travel with Ash, Dawn, and Brock?--Taviource 18:41, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes. Why is shaymin there? unless... LordKaien 18:43, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
...unless Dawn captures it! Or it's there just because it travels with them for a WHILE.--Taviource 18:44, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Like May and Manaphy and Max and Jirachi? BlueJirachi 18:46, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Exactly! We did see the picture with Dawn holding Shaymin, right?--Taviource 18:46, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Taviource, just because you think you see antlers and a tail doesn't make it true fyi :/ The white things look more like wings to me, and the red thing appears to be a rose. It looks nothing like a reindeer. Face it, it's Shaymin's new form. Why would they introduce a fifth generation Pokemon before the fourth is fully revealed? ~RR~ 18:48, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

They do in almost every generation! Also, Shaymin would be perfect 4 Dawn, because of contests.LordKaien 18:49, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
They had always introduced a new Pokemon in the previous Gen. It's like Munchlax in Hoenn. Deoxys wasn't even there yet. And those aren't wings. They're attached to its head!--Taviource 18:51, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, Munchlax arrived before the Diamond and Pearl games.BlueJirachi 18:53, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Face it, RR. IT's a Reindeer!--Taviource 18:54, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Maybe, this creature is related 2 shaymin, but not, like the two shellos forms. LordKaien 18:56, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
