Pineco (Japanese: クヌギダマ Kunugidama) is a Grass-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Paldea Evolved expansion.

It likes to make its shell thicker by adding layers of tree bark. The additional weight doesn’t bother it.

Release information
This card was included in the Paldea Evolved expansion with artwork by Kouki Saitou, first released in the Japanese Clay Burst expansion. It was reprinted as a Cosmos Holofoil SVP Black Star Promo with different artwork by Nobuhiro Imagawa and was available in the Paradox Rift Single Pack Blisters from September 3, 2023. In Japan, this print was one of seven SV-P Promotional cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 2, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues starting April 14, 2023.[1] This print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.
The Regular print of this card was reprinted, alongside a new Shiny rare print with artwork by Scav, in the Japanese Shiny Treasure ex subset. Both the Regular and the Shiny rare prints were included in the Paldean Fates expansion.
