Battle Prep (Japanese: we'll get to that) was a group of sub-stories of the costume event Poké War Games in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pairs Diantha (Special Costume) & Keldeo, Hilda (Special Costume) & Diancie, Guzma (Special Costume) & Buzzwole, and Jasmine (Special Costume) & Celesteela.
The "Super Spotlight Costume Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Diantha (Special Costume) & Keldeo, Hilda (Special Costume) & Diancie, Guzma (Special Costume) & Buzzwole, and Jasmine (Special Costume) & Celesteela for the duration of the event.
During this event, players could earn Event Vouchers X from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.
The player could battle using Diantha (Special Costume) & Keldeo, Hilda (Special Costume) & Diancie, Guzma (Special Costume) & Buzzwole, or Jasmine (Special Costume) & Celesteela to obtain +0.6× bonus vouchers; Grimsley (Kimono) & Bisharp, Fantina & Mismagius, Glacia & Glalie or Falkner & Swellow to obtain +0.4× bonus vouchers; and Lt. Surge & Voltorb/Electrode, Koga & Crobat, Janine & Ariados, Erika & Vileplume, or any unlisted sync pairs with the Johto, Unova, Kalos or Alola theme skills to obtain +0.2× bonus vouchers.
Battle Prep was a combination of the sub-stories Diantha's Battle Prep, Hilda's Battle Prep, Guzma's Battle Prep, and Jasmine's Battle Prep from the initial run of Poké War Games.
