Kakuna (Japanese: コクーン Cocoon) is a Grass-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It is part of the Evolutions expansion.
Card text
During your opponent's next turn, any damage done to this Pokémon by attacks is reduced by 40 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).
Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Poisoned.

Stiffen is an attack that first appeared on Kakuna and Metapod from the Base Set. Poison Powder is a move in the Pokémon games that Kakuna cannot learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green and Pokémon FireRed. This card is based on Base Set Kakuna.
