Ultra rare is a type of rarity in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, introduced in the Black & White expansion, though the rarity was heavily redefined in the Scarlet & Violet expansion. They are Full Art Secret cards that showcase Pokémon or Supporters.

Ultra rare cards are holographic reprints of chase Pokémon or Supporter cards from the same set. As of the Scarlet & Violet expansion, ultra rare cards can be identified through having two silver stars (Ultra Rare) as their rarity symbol.

Super Rare (Japanese: スーパーレア Super Rare) introduced in the Black Collection and White Collection expansions can be seen as the cognate to this rarity in Asian language expansions, however this rarity does not provide a full overlap, as ultra rare cards from the Sword & Shield Series also included alternative art Pokémon VMAX cards which were designated as "Hyper Rare" cards in Asian language expansions denoted by the HR (HR) rarity symbol; a rarity that was also shared with rainbow rare cards. The Super Rare rarity denoted by SR (SR) rarity symbol.

Since the Scarlet & Violet expansion, all ultra rare cards are secret cards. Ultra rare cards from the Sword & Shield or prior series are not considered secret cards outside of Asian language expansions and have card numbers within the regular set list.
