Release information

This card was released as a Cosmos Holofoil SVP Black Star Promo available in the Obsidian Flames Three Pack Blisters from August 11, 2023.

In Japan, this card was released as three different SV-P Promotional cards. Print 031/SV-P was given to participants of Deck As Is Battle ~Get Eevee~ events that began to be held on a regular basis at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues from January 20, 2023. These events required players to use one of the ex Starter Sets in games without any modification (although they were permitted to integrate cards from the Promo Card Pack that came with it). More products became eligible as these events continued to be hosted, including the ex Starter Set Pikachu ex & Pawmot from March 24, 2023 and the ex Start Decks from July 7, 2023. The Tera ex Start Decks, sold individually from November 24, 2023, also became eligible upon release. All eligible decks could be purchased at the host store or could be brought in.[1] This print is Holofoil and features the Pokémon Card Gym logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.

Japanese print 032/SV-P was released as a Casual Battles with Pokémon Cards! participation prize, which were held at Pokémon Centers across Japan on a regular basis starting February 23, 2023. Ideal for beginners, these events were supervised by Pokémon Center staff. Prizes were limited to one person per day and participants were required to play at least three games, regardless of their outcome.[2] This print is Holofoil and features a Pokémon Center logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork. Print 033/SV-P was given to participants of Pokémon Card Game Classroom tutorial events held at Pokémon Centers across the country several times a week, starting January 20, 2023. Classes were intended for children of elementary school age and below and prizes were limited to one person per event per day. It was distributed until the end of March 2024.[3] This print is also Holofoil and features the Pokémon Card Game Classroom logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.

In Indonesia, this card was released as a participation prize for the 2022-23 Indonesia Pokémon Championships, which was held in Jakarta on May 13 and 14, 2023. This release features the Indonesia Championships logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.[4]
