Jolteon is the result of exposing an Eevee to the radiation of a Thunderstone. Jolteon is a dog-like Pokémon with yellow fur that has the sharpness of needles (Glaceon shares this same trait, but it's not as obvious). Jolteon also has a white, spiky collar.

Special abilities
Jolteon can use the same attacks that Eevee could use, with the addition of the ability to use Electrical attacks and Pin Missile. As a fully evolved Pokémon, Jolteon can learn Hyper Beam and Giga Impact.
Jolteon's cells generate a low level of electricity. This power is amplified by the static electricity of its fur, enabling the Pokémon to drop thunderbolts. The bristling fur is made of electrically charged needles.

Origin
It has traits of foxes, porcupines, dogs, and cats. The porcupine traits are reminiscent to those of a species of porcupine known as the Crested porcupine, which lives in tropical Africa. The spikes are the same, except wider, bigger and taller.
Name origin
Jolteon's name is a corruption of jolt. Its Japanese name is a corruption of thunder, which happens to be Zapdos' Japanese name. Eon was Eevee's prototype name, which Jolteon evolves from.
