Sylveon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon covered with pale cream-colored fur with pink feet, ears, and tail. It has light blue eyes, long ears with blue interiors and thicker fur, a tiny nose, two stray tufts of fur on top of its head, and two pointed teeth which can be seen when it opens its mouth. There are two bows on its body: one at the base of its left ear and one at its neck. Each bow is pale cream with a pink center and trails a pair of ribbon-like feelers. The feelers are pale cream and end at the tips with a pink stripe, then a dark blue stripe, and then a light blue color. It has slender legs with small, three-toed paws and a fluffy, slightly curved tail.
Sylveon's ribbon-like feelers emit a soothing aura that erases any sense of hostility, enabling it to stop fights instantly. As mentioned in the Sleep Style Dex, Sylveon's soothing aura can allow any nearby Trainers to obtain a good night sleep whenever they go to sleep. When hunting, it swirls its feelers as a distraction while the aura weakens feelings of hostility in its prey, then it pounces on the victim. It will also wrap its feelers around its Trainer's arm as they walk together, which allows it to read their feelings. When a fight breaks out between Sylveon and Dragon-type Pokémon, Sylveon will bravely charge at them even if they are much bigger than itself; in Galar, this feat is told as a fairy tale.
Sylveon has really made itself at home in the flower meadow in the nature park. It seems to love living there—dancing nimbly as it emits waves of soothing energy.

It sends a soothing aura from its ribbonlike feelers. Trainers that sleep beside a Sylveon are likely get a great night's sleep every time they hit the hay.[sic]

Sylveon, the Intertwining Pokémon. A Fairy type. Sylveon's ribbon-like feelers send out waves that have a calming effect and can put a stop to conflicts. If it places its feelers on its Trainer, Sylveon can understand their emotions.
GOTCHA!
A Sylveon briefly appeared in GOTCHA!, under the ownership of Valerie.
Sylveon appears as a trophy in both versions of the game.
Trophy information
Sylveon is one of Eevee's various final evolutions. It has a lot of great attacks to use in battle, but it actually seems to be a peace-loving sort of Pokémon. Case in point, it can completely stop the flow of battle by moving its ribbonlike feelers in a way that charms its opponents into not wanting to fight anymore.
In contrast to the rest of the Eeveelutions' pointed ears, Sylveon's ears are large and rounded, giving it a resemblance to rabbits. Fairies were thought to be particularly active under the light of the full moon; because of this and the rabbit association, Sylveon could be based on the mythical Asian moon rabbit. The moon rabbit is often portrayed as a companion of the Chinese moon goddess Chang'e, who is frequently depicted wearing a robe adorned with many ribbons, which is likely referenced with Sylveon's feelers.
Sylveon may also be based on Kaltes-Ekwa, a moon goddess in Ugrian mythology who shape-shifted into a hare. In addition, its cries depicted in New Pokémon Snap are similar to those of a cat, and it might be based on the fictional cabbit hybrid.
Name origin
Sylveon may be a combination of sylph (elemental of air commonly identified with fairies) and eon (an immeasurably long period of time, possibly referring to how long evolution takes naturally). Eon is a suffix all EeveeEvolutions share and was Eevee's English prototype name.
Nymphia may be derived from nymph, a class of female nature deities in Greek mythology commonly associated with fairies.
