Probopass (Japanese: ダイノーズ Dainose) is a dual-type Rock/Steel Pokémon. It is the evolved form of Nosepass.
Biology
Physiology
Probopass has small round eyes, in contrast to Nosepass's perpetually closed ones. Its nose is much bigger in proportion to its body and has a bushy "mustache." The "mustache" appears to be iron filings caught by its magnetic nose. It has three small objects on its sides and back that look like Nosepass; they are called "Mini-Noses" by the Pokédex. These "Mini-Noses" can be detached and form a new Nosepass. It also has a big hat-like magnet on top of its head.

Trivia
- Some have cited Probopass's shiny form to have a resemblance to Mario, another Nintendo character, probably due to the moustache under its compass nose, and the red 'hat' upon its head.
- Probopass slightly resembles a Mr. Potato Head.
- Probopass' mustache also resembles iron shavings if placed onto a magnet [1].
Origin
Probopass is based off of the pukau-wearing moai statues of Easter Island (with a mustache added).
Name origin
Probopass is a combination of proboscis and compass. Dainose's name is a combination of 大 dai, big, and nose – thus literally meaning "big nose." Its German name, Voluminas, comes from voluminös and Nase. Its French name, Tarinorme, comes from tarin and énorme.
